The Sassolungo, the massifs of the Pordoi and Sella, the Catinaccio and the Queen of the Dolomites: the Marmolada.
Peaks of an unparalleled beauty representing our natural pride and natural clock, still beating the rhythms and the hours of our days, changing colour and turning fiery red as evening and sunset approach: this is the so-called Enrosadira, one of the natural phenomena which amaze the guests of our camping in Campitello di Fassa.
Our structure is an indispensable invitation to a holiday: young and old can have fun at the “Ischia” sports center with which we have an agreement, starting to take their first steps in the artificial rock gym under the gaze of an expert guide, or have fun doing a game of tennis or soccer, basketball or volleyball.
For all lovers of the genre there is also a bowling green, minigolf and a golf school course.
Only a few steps from our camping in Val di Fassa you will find grocery stores, newsagents, tobacconists and a wide range of shops provide all the convenience of the city against a holiday backdrop, all just minutes away.
The beauty of our valley is undoubtedly the main attraction for everyone who chooses to spend their holiday here as our guests. Imagine getting up in the morning and having breakfast in the sun shining from behind the Marmolada and the Pordoi. In the evening on the Catinaccio you are treated to a sunset turning the rocks of the Pordoi and the Sassolungo to a fiery red. Everywhere you look – without even having to climb the surrounding peaks, just lying on the grass at your tent, or sitting comfortably in your caravan – is an unforgettable picture postcard.
For those who love walking there is a wide choice: from trails for grandparents with grandchildren plunged in millenarian woods and deep green, to routes with fixed ropes and challenging walks for mountain and climbing enthusiasts, on the most beautiful and famous peaks of the Dolomites, the same which greet our guests every morning at our camping in Campitello di Fassa.
Mountain bike lovers, too, will find a paradise here.
Climbing the passes which have made history… the make or break of many cycling champions and deciding the outcome of many a Giro d’Italia … The Pordoi pass, the Sella pass, the Fedaia at the foot of the Marmolada.. It is impossible to describe the emotions and the satisfaction of arriving at the top, taking a well-earned look at the fantastic panorama awaiting visitors to these spectacular beauty spots.
Off-piste fans can enjoy the cycling trail through the woods, descending the valley from Canazei to Moena, passing through Campitello, following the route of the ‘Marcialonga’ competition held here in winter.
If you prefer to take things at a more leisurely pace, why not enjoy the sunshine and fantastic views in the peace and quiet by the banks of the river surrounding the campsite? What are you waiting for ??
